Mr Teo spent over 15 years in the private sector progressing to manage multi-national companies like DHL Express (Singapore) in the Asia Pacific region before stepping into public service for the past 11 years.
He was elected Member of Parliament for Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC in May 2006 and was appointed as Parliamentary Secretary. He was subsequently promoted to Minister of State, appointed as the Mayor of the North East District and chairman of the Mayors committee. Mr Teo has served in the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Ministry of Manpower, Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports, and the Ministry of Transport. Mr Teo continues to serve as a Member of Parliament today.
For his achievements, Mr Teo was recognised as a young global leader by the World Economic Forum for his contribution to the business and community services sectors. He also received the Outstanding Young Alumni Award and subsequently received the Outstanding Alumni Award from Nanyang Technological University for continuing to make a difference in public service.
Mr Teo graduated from Nanyang Technological University(NTU) and is married with two children. He works out daily in functional fitness, and actively participates in sports such as football, triathlons, marathons and has completed 5 Ironman races.
Mr Tan is the Group Chairman of JK Tech Group, a group of companies in the areas of Trusted Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services and Financial Technology serving the Banking and Financial sectors. He started his career as an engineer in the Petrochemical industry before spending 10 years with the American Multinational 3M, progressing to manage and develop business units covering 14 countries in the Asia-Pacific.
After leaving 3M to pursue his dream of being an entrepreneur, Mr Tan chanced upon the opportunity to acquire JK Tech which allowed him to gain full access to both Chinese and international markets.
Today, Mr Tan has grown JK Tech Group into a Global Top Ten Smartcard Producer, Top trusted BPO provider for Singapore & Hong Kong Banks and the Biometric Authentication and Payment solution provider for many banks including the world’s largest banks. His success was recognised and he was awarded the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year in 2017.
Mr Ong joined Jing King Tech Holdings (JK Tech) as Group CEO for International Business in 2016. Prior to JK Tech, he was Managing Director for Morpho Cards (Singapore) Pte Ltd of the Safran Group from 2006 to 2016. He was also appointed SVP Sales APAC, Morpho Business Solution Division and a member of the Executive Committee for this division in France.
Mr Ong has over 20 years of experience in the Telecommunications, Banking, Identity, Transportation and Security Industry. He has vast experience in Biometric technology, Smart cards and its applications in these sectors. Mr Ong graduated with an Honours Degree in Electronics & Electrical Engineering (Computer Engineering Major) from Nanyang Technological University of Singapore in 1996. He also holds an Advanced Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ngee Ann Polytechnic as well as a Diploma for Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Telecommunications) from Singapore Polytechnic.
Mr Tan is the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director for JK Tech Group. He oversees the entire finance function of the group; in Singapore, Hong Kong and People’s Republic of China.
Marvin started as an Auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers Singapore and moved to Ernst and Young LLP in Houston, Texas. His leadership and management skills there led him to earn a double-promotion in 2005, and the title of 2006’s Integration leader of Ernst and Young.
He later moved on to work as a business consultant and investor for a Private Equity Fund based in Singapore and China with a portfolio of US$350 million to invest in growing technology companies before leaving to join the JK Tech Group. Mr Tan is also a business owner of a translation services company based in Shanghai and a pre-school education institution in Guangzhou.
Marvin graduated with an Honours degree in Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University of Singapore and was one of the Top 20 undergraduate in the Dean’s list.
